Brrrr...We're bundling up and we're ready to go. Our team is thrilled to be leaving tomorrow from In Touch Ministries at 1:00 pm for Moscow, Russia.
The flight is about 10.5 hours and is direct to Moscow! What a blessing to have this flight as it cuts off over 8 hours of travel time. Several hours after we land in Moscow we will take a 11 hour overnight train ride to Voronezh. (Note: There is an 8-hour time change.)
Prayer Requests for December 28-29:
Please pray that we will have an uneventful flight and that the team will be rested. Also pray that God will prepare the hearts of the people we will be meeting. Please pray for the team while they enter Customs in Moscow. Pray that the team goes unnoticed and ALL supplies and personal items make it through without difficulties.
Ask God to help us as we adjust to our new surrounding, culture, and our bodies as we adjust to the time differences. Remember team’s family members who will remain back home. We will need strength, endurance, and great health for the duration of the trip.
Also ask the Lord to continue protecting and preparing the 12 youth leaders in training who will join us in Voronezh.
I hope to be able to communicate with you while on the mission field via e-mail; however, it may come from another address. We will try to note in the header that the message is from the Russia team.
