Irina (to the left of me) is one of my dear friends and longtime teammates from Russia. She has been with me almost everytime I have traveled in Russia. In addition to her full-time teaching position at the Bryansk University, Irina has been translating In Touch Ministries materials for the past few years. Recently she has been working on the radio broadcast scripts of Dr. Stanley's sermons. Irina is also working on her doctorate degree in English.
Although she serves as a translator and teacher, over the years we have become prayer partners even across the ocean. How grateful I am for calling cards and e-mail. We are able to stay in contact throughout the year. Please keep Irina and her family in prayer as she continues to minister to her nation, tend to her family and finish her doctorate program. In spite of a busy schedule ask the Lord to keep her relationship with Him intimate and fresh each day.
